About Me
Kalki through the looking-glass

As we entered Amy Billimoria’s House of Design in Juhu, Mumbai, we knew we were not in Kansas anymore. The store exudes a happy feeling. From the décor of the store to the clothes housed within it, we could tell that this was going to be a departure from a traditional bridal makeover.

About Me
Sonam and Paras Modi share their marriage mantra…

We met at a common friend’s wedding in Lonavla, after which we started meeting almost twice a week with friends. Photography trends set to rule in 2020

Curious about the latest trends in wedding photography? From video projection mapping to monochromatic photoshoots—here's your guide to finding a style that best suits you!

According to Shah and Rochlani, black and white portraits and art photography—besides smoke bomb photography—are the trends of the season. With a larger viewing audience at hand, an increasing number of couples prefer to shoot teasers these days. A hot new trend is that of video projection mapping that allows you to transform your space instantly. This comes handy when couples want to recreate a part of their favourite memory for pre-wedding shoots.

Sidhwaani elaborates, “For pre-wedding shoots, couples like to visit places that hold special memories, like the school or college they studied at, the city they grew up in or a hill station they visited for a family holiday.” Wedding photographs are a gateway to memories; hence, they should be unique and stand the test of time.

Modgil states, “Muted colours, documentary style photography, mood lighting, monochromes and wedding photo sharing apps will rule the trends this year.”
