Things you shouldn’t do on your wedding day to avoid a bridezilla situation
Your big day is finally here. After months of planning, it’s time to let go of the stress and cherish each moment of love and happiness. To enjoy your day to the fullest, here are a few things you should refrain from doing so as to avoid a hectic and stressful situation.
Avoid: Salon trippin’
Don’t make any last-minute trips to the salon to get anything done to your face or body. From waxing to manicure-pedicure and facial threading, get all necessary skin treatments done at least two to three days prior to your wedding day. Steer clear from chemical-based facials and clean-ups at any cost. You could unwittingly be sending an open invitation to a skin reaction.
Avoid: Eating less
If you wish to stay active and energised on the happiest day of your life, avoid under-eating. Ask one of your friends to ensure that you’re well-fed at all times. You don’t want to get or look too tired during the celebrations. It’s going to be long day with a lot of talking and moving around, so ensure you are hydrated throughout the day.
Avoid: Having one too many drinks
Your wedding party isn’t just any party. It’s a day you want to etch into your mind forever. Put a cap on those summer cocktails and definitely don’t drink more than you can handle.
Avoid: Being ungrateful
Remember to thank your support system—be it your family, friends or even the wedding planner and their crew—by giving them a token of your appreciation. Express your gratitude with a gift or perhaps a song, dance or a speech dedicated to them.
Avoid: Spending little time with your beloved
Today is all about you and your partner. Don’t get so caught up catering to the guests that you miss out on precious little moments with your better half. This is a day you will want to cherish years after your wedding, so make sure you spend it with the people you value the most.
