Making little changes to your wedding celebrations can go a long way in saving the environment. Read on to find out how this couple celebrated their wedding in an eco-friendly manner.
For Prashin Jagger and Deepa Kamath, it had little to do with curating a wedding, but more about staying true to how they want to live life on a daily basis.
The couple share, “The wedding was just a by-product of our attitude and the intention that we carry into each day. Our engagement rings were made from wood with the help of our friend Auddie D’Souza, who also makes guitars.”
Minimal floral decorations were used along with reusable plastic glasses instead of disposable plastic items. Instead of an air-conditioned venue, the couple chose a spacious, well-ventilated venue; leftover food was distributed among the needy; and for favours, guests received seed balls in recycled cloth bags sourced from a local tailor.
